sorry if this should be in a support forum, but this just a quick question!I have a question: If I am going to install Windows 7 via Boot Camp, do I need any special update?All I have done so far are the following:1) Burnt the disc for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.2) Downloaded some driver stuff from Apple that applies to my iMac 3) Did everything listed at the link above.So do I need anything else? It seems to me that I am good to go and install Windows 7.you are good to go.go ahead and install win7, then this update that just came out. Just installed it.
Nothing too breath taking (my hardware worked on 3.0). My headphone jack stopped emitting a red light, so that is good.One thing that was not fixed was the keyboard backlight. In windows it doesn't seem that you can turn off the backlight 100% like you can in Mac OS X. The minimum it dims to is the equivalent brightness of having 1 bar in Mac OS X.

Not a show stopper but kind of annoying (and adds to the power consumption issues, although probably not by a lot).Apple Software Update for Windows will download and install Boot Camp updates, just FYI. Can we install this without installing the older version of Bootcamp btw? Also, back in Vista, I used to be able to just use the Audio Drivers from Realtek, and Graphics drivers, etc.Does it still work, or do I need to really use Apple's Drivers this time?Macbook Pro 3,1You should be able to install without the previous version, I think. The Boot Camp drivers are installed after Windows is installed, so just have them pre-downloaded and available on the first boot of Windows, and you should be good.I think the show-stopping problems were fixed by the firmware update for the Mac Pro and iMac. Well still not working right, for me the two fingered click on the taskbar still doesn't work, also it registers a left and right click using two fingers.The odd thing is THREE fingered click works perfectly for right click.Anyone else with this problem?PS.

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro 13'Yeah, I have the same issue, however I don't click. If you tap, two fingers works perfectly.On a 2008 Unibody Macbook Pro 15'.The mouse is a lot better now though. It's definitely not annoying like it used to be, although scrolling still isn't up to OS X.
